Flora and Fauna in Corbett National Park
Corbett is rich in its flora and fauna. There are about 110 species of trees, 50 species of mammals, 580 species of birds and 25 species of reptiles found in the forest of Jim Corbett National Park. The lower area of the park is completed populated by Sal Trees. The park is a great haven for royal Bengal tigers.
Other animals found in the park are leopards, deer, wild boar, wild dog, leopard, jungle cat, fishing cat, sloth bear, jackal, black deer, spotted deer, sambar deer, palm civet, mongoose, common otter, elephants, etc. Along with Ramnagar River side one can also spot crocodiles.
