Ranthambore National Park

Nestled between the Aravalli and the Vindhyas Mountain, Ranthambore National Park is the famous wildlife sanctuaries of India. It is one of the finest tiger reserve sanctuary in the country with lakes, fortress majestic tigers. The park is located in the Sawai Madhopur District of Rajasthan about 130 Kms away from Jaipur- the Pink City of India. The sanctuary was established in 1959 and in 1981 it was declared as the National Park of India.
The National park is rich in flora and fauna and it is mostly known for tiger reserve. It is the home of tigers and varied species of wildlife. Beside the majestic tigers the parks has also conserved animals like leopard, sloth bear, jackal, mongoose, deer, etc. It also has preserved varied species of birds and nearly 230 different species of birds are found in this national park.
Ranthambore National Park is ideal for wildlife expedition. Visitors can enjoy safari to spot various species of animals in their natural habitat. The ideal way of spottin g tiger in the park is by taking a jeep safari. Tigers are predominantly seen at Raj Bagh Talab, Malik Talab and Padam Talak. These are the lakes inside the park where tigers can be spotted at any point of time. There are around 40 tigers in the parks and the numbers of tigers are slowly increasing. It is the ideal sanctuary to capture the picture of tigers and other varied species of animals in their natural home.

Ranthambore Fort
The Majestic Fort is the prime attraction of tourists coming to visit Ranthambore National Park. Tourists can view the splendor view of the Ranthambore National Park from the fort. Till date the fort never fails to lure visitors with its excellent construction. The view of the surrounding from the top of the fort is breathtaking. The invincible fort till date stands majestically grabbing the attention of tourists from world wide.
Padam Talao
Padam Talao is the biggest lake present in the Ranthambore National Park. It is the lake where most of the time tigers are spotted. Deer, Chinkara and sloth bear can also be spotted from the Padam Talao. The hunting lodge is situated at the bank of the Padam Talao. It is the finest lake to take photo snap of varied wildlife species.
How to reach Ranthambore National Park :-
By Air : The nearest airport for Ranthambore National Park is Jaipur. There is a regular flight from Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. The excellent service of Jet Airways from Delhi and Mumbai have made easier to reach Ranthambore.

By Rail: The nearest railway station is Sawai Madhopur. The good network of railways system have made easier for tourists to reach Ranthambore. Sawai Madhopur is well connected with excellent network of Railways from all the major cities and states of India.
By Road: The excellent network of roadways have made easier for tourists to reach Ranthambore. Visitors can reach Ranthambhore by taxis and the regular bus service. There is a regular bus service in Jaipur that ply from Jaipur to Ranthambore vice-versa.
