Akbar's Palace and Museum: Situated close to the Ajmer Dargah Sharif and the Ajmer Railway Station, the museum is easily accessible for visitors. The museum houses a collection of artefacts showcasing the rich heritage of Rajasthan. This collection displays different types of armour used by warriors during the Mughal and Rajput eras. You can also see sculptures crafted from various materials, miniature paintings, coins, utensils, and many more heritage items in the museum.

Baradari: This is a white marble pavilion complex situated on the southeastern embankment of the picturesque Ana Sagar Lake. This historic structure offers a captivating blend of Mughal architecture and a serene lakeside setting. The Baradari is believed to have been constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century. The lake, swings, food stalls, and well-maintained garden offer a good atmosphere to spend time with kids and family.

Taragarh Mosque: This is basically a fort located on Taragarh Hill. The mosque established near the fort is around 250 years old. Taragarh Mosque is as important for Muslim devotees as Dargah Sharif. However, either you have your own vehicle or hire a private auto to reach Taragarh, as no public transport is available on this route.

Pushkar: Pushkar, however, may not hold significant value for Muslim devotees; still, it is an excellent place for exploration. Located 25 kilometres from Ajmer, Pushkar is an ancient and religious city, significant for Hindu pilgrims. You can wander in the colourful streets of Pushkar and also experience the thousand-year-old ghats and sarovar near the world's only Brahma temple.

Pay Your Gratitude at Dargah Sharif:

Millions of Muslim devotees visit the Ajmer Dargah, also known as the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, every day. Here, they offer chadar (a sheet) and rose flowers at the shrine and pray for their well-being. It is believed that prayers made with a sincere heart are always answered here. The main market starts from Delhi Gate and ends at the mosque. Here you can easily buy clothes, toys, household items, and many other things. Due to the thousands of devotees who visit daily, there is always a bit of a crowd, but the hustle and bustle is part of the experience.

Taste Delightful Kachori and Lassi:

In Ajmer, there is a place called Gol Pyau, located a few metres away from the Dargah Bazaar. Here, there is Shankar Chat, a very old and famous shop for kachori and samosas, and right next to it is a lassi vendor. The kachori, served with various chutneys and kadhi, will tantalise your taste buds. You might not have tasted such delicious kachori anywhere else.

Wander in Streets of Ancient Pushkar:

Pushkar is considered the most colourful city in Rajasthan, and its cattle fair is world-famous. Pushkar holds special significance for Hindus because the lake here is believed to have been created by Brahma himself. There are ghats (steps leading to the water) around Pushkar Lake where you can find unparalleled peace. Even if you are not interested in temples and ghats, you will surely be attracted to the local market.
