Additional legal terms covering acceptance, liability, guest responsibilities and governing law.
Acceptance of Booking Terms
- By making a payment, accepting a quotation, submitting a booking request, signing a booking form, or availing any service offered by Places to Visit India, the guest acknowledges and agrees to all Terms & Conditions, Payment Policies, Cancellation Policies, and other policies published by Places to Visit India.
- These Terms & Conditions shall be binding upon all travelers included in the booking.
Travel Insurance
- Places to Visit India strongly recommends that all guests obtain suitable travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, accidents, hospitalization, personal liability, baggage loss, evacuation, and force majeure events.
- Places to Visit India shall not be liable for any loss, expense, injury, damage, delay, or cancellation that could have been covered under a travel insurance policy.
Third-Party Service Providers
- Places to Visit India acts as a travel organizer and facilitator for services provided by hotels, transport operators, airlines, railways, guides, activity providers, local vendors, and other third-party service providers.
- While reasonable care is taken in selecting service providers, Places to Visit India shall not be responsible for any act, omission, negligence, deficiency of service, cancellation, delay, overbooking, operational failure, or dispute arising from the services of third-party vendors.
Right to Refuse Service
Places to Visit India reserves the right to refuse, terminate, or cancel a booking without refund if a guest:
- Violates local laws or regulations.
- Engages in abusive, threatening, offensive, or disruptive behavior.
- Causes inconvenience to fellow travelers, guides, drivers, hotel staff, or company representatives.
- Participates in illegal activities.
- Is found under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances in a manner that affects safety or group operations.
Such decisions shall be made solely at the discretion of Places to Visit India and shall be final.
Limitation of Liability
- Under no circumstances shall the liability of Places to Visit India exceed the total amount actually paid by the guest to Places to Visit India for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
- Places to Visit India shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or business-related damages, including loss of income, loss of opportunity, mental distress, inconvenience, or loss of enjoyment.
Written Communication Policy
- Any booking amendment, cancellation request, refund request, special request, complaint, or dispute must be communicated in writing through official communication channels of Places to Visit India.
- Verbal discussions, phone conversations, or informal communications shall not be considered binding unless confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of Places to Visit India.
Guest Responsibilities
- Guests are responsible for ensuring that they possess valid identification documents, permits, visas, medical certificates, fitness certificates, vaccination records, or any other documentation required for travel.
- Guests must arrive at designated pickup points, airports, railway stations, and activity locations on time.
- Any losses arising from failure to comply with these requirements shall be borne solely by the guest.
Photography & Marketing Consent
- During tours, treks, safaris, and events organized by Places to Visit India, photographs and videos may be captured for promotional and marketing purposes.
- Unless specifically declined in writing before commencement of the tour, guests grant Places to Visit India permission to use such photographs and videos on websites, social media platforms, brochures, advertisements, and other promotional materials without additional compensation.
Recovery-Based Refunds
- Wherever refunds are applicable, such refunds shall be subject to actual recoveries received from hotels, transport providers, airlines, activity operators, government authorities, and other service providers.
- Places to Visit India shall not be obligated to refund amounts that are not recovered from service providers.
Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
- Any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising from services offered by Places to Visit India shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
- Jaipur, Rajasthan shall be the sole and exclusive venue for dispute resolution, arbitration, mediation, and legal proceedings.
