Mechuka is well-connected to other parts of Arunachal Pradesh. If you want a road trip, you can enter Arunachal via West Bengal and Assam. Either you can reach Menchuka via Itanagar in Arunachal or Dibrugarh in Assam following the below route:

By Air: You can fly to Pasighat Airport in Arunachal Pradesh. The rest of the journey of approx. 290 kilometres you can complete by hiring a private taxi or using public transport. It may take to reach neary 13-14 hours or more to cover the distance, depending on traffic conditions.
By Train: Tinsukia railway station in Assam is the closest. However, Menchuka is located in Arunachal Pradesh, and you've got to travel 415 kilometres further by road via Dibrugarh.
Note: Since travelling to Mechuka in Arunachal via road and railway will take several days, it is recommended to fly directly to Pasighat.
Tip: The government has also provided helicopter service from Itanagar to Mechuka twice in a week. You can also choose the way of travelling to save time.
