Nanda Devi Temple

Nanda Devi Temple is one of the most important spiritual sites in Munsyari. It is located just 3 km from the main market and is dedicated to Goddess Nanda Devi, the guardian goddess of the region.

Khaliya Top Trek

Thamri Kund

Thamri Kund is a small high-altitude lake hidden inside a dense forest near Munsyari. The trail to the lake begins near a small Hanuman temple and is about 3 km long. Along the way, you may spot langoors playing in the trees.

The lake is surrounded by tall oak and rhododendron trees. It is believed to be sacred. Locals say birds keep the lake clean by picking out fallen leaves, as no human is allowed to disturb its purity.
