Start from Rishikesh – Gateway to the Rudranath Trek

Most pilgrims and trekkers begin their Rudranath Trek from Rishikesh. It is recommended to start early in the morning towards Sagar Village via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, and Gopeshwar.

Regular buses and shared taxis are available from Rishikesh to Gopeshwar. From Gopeshwar, local taxis can be hired to reach Sagar Village, the most popular base camp for the trek. Private cabs are also available for a more comfortable journey.
