How to reach Valley of Flowers:
By Air: Jolly Grant Airport (DED) is the nearest airport in Dehradun that opens doors to reach Valley of Flowers. Dehradun Airport has excellent connectivity to other leading airports in India.
By Train: Rishikesh and Dehradun are the nearest railway stations and gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas. Trains are easily available to both Rishikesh and Dehradun from all the main cities of the country, connecting various small towns in between.

The trek route starts from the village Pulna which is 6 km away from Govind Ghat. Your first destination is Ghanghariya village after trekking 10 km from Pulna. The main valley is around 4 km from Ghanghariya and visitors can explore the valley even further until 2 pm. One must have to return at 2 pm for safety reasons.
